Pranav Budhathoki

Pranav Budhathoki is a Founder/Head of Nepal & Pakistan Programs for Local Interventions Group, a non profit company that works with technology-led development solutions in Nepal and Pakistan, mainly in Open Government. He has an MSc in Comparative Politics (Democracy) from the London School of economics (UK) and Bachelors degree in European Studies from London Metropolitan University (UK). He currently leads Open Government programme in Nepal and Pakistan and is coordinating with the Office of the Prime Minister of Nepal in securing commitment to join Open Government Partnership. He has in the past written for the Guardian, the Daily Telegraph, Nepali Times, and New Internationalist magazine; led Nepal programmes for London based organisation Peace Direct; and produced short films for Sri Lanka based Young Asia TV.
