Mark Robinson

Mark is presently serving as Chief Professional Officer for Governance, Social Development, Conflict and Humanitarian Aid in the UK Department for International Development (DFID). Mark leads a group of more than 250 governance, social development, conflict and humanitarian advisers in DFID’s 40 overseas offices and central departments. Working with a team of four specialist Heads of Profession he plays a central role in DFID’s policy, research and operational work, with particular responsibilities for thought leadership, strengthening professionalism, and improving the quality of evidence and results in programme design and delivery.
