Gabriella Razzano

Gabriella Razzano is a lawyer who heads the Research Unit at the Open Democracy Advice Centre. She has a BA LLB from the University of Cape Town, graduating with distinction in Sociology. She formerly clerked with Justice Yacoob of the Constitutional Court and worked with University of Witwatersrand. She has a particular focus on access to information and open data activism, and serves as an active member of the Right2Know Campaign, the African Platform on Access to Information Steering Committee, the Open Data and Democracy Initiative Steering Committee, and is an Honourary Member of the KwaZulu-Natal Public Sector Lawyers Association.
